To me, festivals are camping in the middle of no where and having four stages to choose from with artists performing at all times. That being said, Boston Calling is a great festival option if you are a city dweller or a local looking for a great option close by.
This year’s lineup has to be one of the most polarizing and eclectic lineups I have seen on a smaller scale two-day festival. Between Tool, Chance the Rapper, Mumford and Sons, 1975, Frightened Rabbit, Modern Baseball, Mitski, and everyone in between, there is truly something for everyone. At $270, it’s a little out of my price range for what it is, but definitely worth checking out if you can swing it!
